WHY CHOOSE A QUARTZ WORKTOP?

There are many reasons for choosing a quartz worktop over a more traditional stone surface. Firstly, quartz surfaces are hygienic, long-lasting and easy to care for, which makes them ideal for installation as a worktop or almost any interior surface in a busy household.
All our quartz work surfaces are manufactured from between 92% and 97% quartz crystals (one of the hardest natural minerals) combined with other materials and resins to form a tough, durable surface that never ages. Quartz’s non-porous nature ensures that no space is left for bacteria to collect, with its stain, scratch, and heat-resistant properties making it a great investment for any type of home. Like their granite counterparts, quartz worktops can be can be polished, honed, or textured and are available in a wide range of colours, patterns, and graining.

FAQ's

Quartz worktops offer numerous advantages. They are exceptionally durable and resistant to scratches, which allows them to thrive in high-traffic areas such as kitchens. They are also non-porous, meaning that they do not absorb liquid, which reduces the chances of stains and the build-up of mould and bacteria. Quartz worktops also need minimal maintenance and do not require regular sealing, unlike other stone surfaces.
The price you pay depends on several factors, including your worktop’s colour, edge profile, and more. When you arrange an appointment with us, we will discuss your project requirements in full. We’ll then aim to provide you with a fixed-price quote before the end of the next working day.
To begin the process, one of our professional templaters will visit your home to take detailed measurements. This is your opportunity to discuss the finer details of your project before we begin work. We’ll then create your surface(s) to match the templates supplied. We will usually return to your home 5-10 days after templating to install your engineered stone worktop.
You should clean your worktop regularly with mild soap, warm water, and a soft sponge, taking care to avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Any spillages should be wiped up immediately to avoid permanent staining. You should also ensure that chopping boards and hot pads are used whenever you are in the kitchen to prevent damage to your work surface.
Yes. Even though quartz work surfaces are highly durable, they are not immune to damage. This can be caused by impact (dropping heavy items onto the worktop or hitting its edges),  placing hot items directly onto the surface, failing to use chopping boards, and not cleaning up stains when they occur.
